This policy explains what personal information 7Webs (“we”, “us”) collects through 7webs.co.in, why we collect it and what we do with it.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you complete the contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide: your name, work email, company, website, country, and what you tell us about your project, budget and timeline.
Information collected automatically
When you submit the form we also record the page you first landed on, the page that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed. This tells us how people find us. If analytics is enabled, we collect aggregated usage data such as pages viewed and buttons clicked.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and assess whether we can help.
- To prepare a proposal and, if we work together, to manage that relationship.
- To understand which pages and channels bring enquiries, so we can improve the site.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you made an enquiry.
Legal basis
Where data protection law such as the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and on your consent where it is required.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run this website and our business, for example hosting, email and customer relationship software. They process information on our behalf and only for those purposes. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
International transfers
7Webs is based in India, and our service providers may store data in other countries. When information is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our dealings with you. If we do not work together, we delete enquiry data within 24 months. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Cookies
The site itself does not need cookies to work. We keep first-visit attribution details in your browser’s session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It loads, and sets its cookies, only if you choose “Accept analytics” when asked. If you decline, it is never loaded. Your choice is remembered in your browser and you can change it at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
